Coca-Cola briefed us to conceptualise a tv ad for teens around the habit of binge-watching and to use their global campaign line 'Real Magic'. The magic referred to in the line, is not the rabbit out of hats kind of magic, but rather real moments experienced that are in-fact magical.
Our tv ad captured real magic well showing two friends captivated by a fight scene on the screen, where one is so engrossed that he mimics his favourite character. This is something we can all relate to. Amidst the action, the boy knocks down his Coca-Cola which then becomes part of the action scene he is mimicking. We wanted the ad in itself to feel like and entertaining piece of content to appeal to our binge-watching teens.
We shot the ad using two sets of cast so that the ads would be relevant for the African countries that they will be flighted in.
